Peringottukara Devasthanam is a temple of traditional Vishnumaya cult where Dravidian style of poojas are held with utmost devotion. Here there is no restriction for any caste or religion. Devotees can partake in Poojas and their presence during the rites adds to their confidence and achieve consolation. Unlike other temples poojas are held during 11 am -2 pm during the culmination of which Vishnumaya appears in front of the devotees to hear their problem and offer solutions. Those who can’t come to the temple can send the amount for their poojas and receive prasadam . Besides Vishnumaya Swamy, Bhuvaneswary, Brahma Rakshasu and Sub-deities also are worshipped here. Mahishamandapa, Holy pond and colossal idol of Lord Vishnumaya in the gigantic coach are other attractions.
